WatchmenI thought days are so slow lately but I almost forgot that I was waiting for the release of the Watchmen the movie in cinemas.

The highly anticipated flick is directed by Zack Snyder (of Dawn of the Dead and 300) and is written by David Hayter (The Scorpion King, X-Men, X-Men 2) and Alex Tse.  Stars Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Carla Gugino, Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

It was yesterday that I remembered today is the day the movie releases. It couldn't get out of my mind. I couldn't even sleep because of the excitement. I bought my food and drinks last night, I couldn't wait to watch the movie.

The alarm, which I set up the night before, from my mobile phone woke me up early in the morning. Eat up an instant cup noodle and prepare for the movie. I was so prepared. It was perfect.

It was my first time to watch a premier movie on its first ever movie schedule for the day. I didn't know that there are many movie fanatics who can't wait for the next movie schedule. They queued up on the movie ticket counter and bought their movie tickets as I did too. I just wish I came earlier than the other guy who took the best seat in the cinema! Darn it!

Well anyway I was stunned with the first scene which was the murder of The Comedian. Although I was puzzled why The Comedian was laughing while he was being beaten up. A good choice to start a movie.

It was then followed the a series of scenes/photographs that explains what happened to The MinuteMen which is their group's original name. I haven't read the original WatchMen comics but I guess the association of the American history is the original story in the comics.

The following scene introduced one of the most influencing character in the movie, Rorschach. He is so mysterious with his white mask that has a moving abstract ink images on it. Maybe it displays Rorschach's current mood, feeling, and expression.

Rorschach begun to investigate The Comedian's assassination. He went to each member of the group. At first I thought he is a sort of alien because of his mask, but then when he went to Night Owl's house and eat some food, he used a spoon to eat while his mask was half way taken off so he can eat.

Night Owl II

Rorschach then went to Silk Spectre who is dating Dr. Manhattan. He tried to convince them to help him on investigating the murder case but Dr. Manhattan declined and teleported him outside. Rorschach was kinda funny in this part. Lol.

Silk Spectre II
Well it was obvious that Silk Spectre and Night Owl had this feeling for each other. Dr Manhattan can sense it but he doesn't care. Dr Manhattan lost his emotions when he got his powers.

All in all, my favorite character in the movie is Rorschach. My favorite scene of him is when he was framed up and put into jail. He beat up one of his inmate then pour some hot oil all over the guy. While he was being taken down by the prison guards, he announces...

You don't understand. I am not stucked in here with you. You are stucked here with me!
