As some of you noticed that some premade layouts designed by Lalaine, Switpotato and some sets codes of Daryll are unavailable at the moment. Since they are hosted on my account, once my server overload it affects my whole host account. If the number of requests or the excessive usage reach its limits, my server will automatically suspended temporarily until the next 1 GMT+

My host account can consume a huge amount of webspace and bandwidth but the number of requests (per usage; not by file size) from my account is not permitted.

In order to prevent my account from being suspended I am taking precautions, rules and regulations. What I have in mind is to conduct a contest. The contest is about showing the person's capabilities and skills on designing layout(s), and to know whether they are deserving to have their own host account (Yes, own host with a free domain). The winner can choose whether to get an account from the host site that I currently using or get an account from hostmonster.com

I would like to know your suggestions or opinion about this matter by posting a comment in this article (click here if you can't find the comment form), and also include your nominations who can or want to join this contest. Further details will be announce based on the majority's feedbacks.

I know the previous layout competition was a failure due to my lack of time on organizing the contest. But this time, I will make sure that this contest will be a successful.

On the other hand, those who are sharing a host with me who only use their space as their blogs and personal host, I will still let them continue on having their domains or subdomains.

And in addition, I will publish many tutorials and instructions for layout users and designers so they can use their layouts without depending on other people's hosts.

Happy new year to all! :)
