I guess it's in my nature to be lazy. One day I was so lazy, instead of going to my school class, I went to the mall and watch a movie in the cinema. It was a hot and sunny afternoon. I rushed to the mall to have some cool air. I went to the mall just to watch a movie. I didn't even stop to any of the shops. I just walked fast to the cinema and buy a ticket.
I decided to watch the Mummy III: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Good thing it will start for about 15 minutes later that time. When I was about to buy a ticket, there was no clerk or person at the cashier. I saw a cinema ticket vend machine. People can either use cash or their credit cards to buy movie tickets. Anyway I slide my card into the slot of the vend machine, I typed in my password (which is... SECRET!), and tried to buy a ticket. But in some reason I couldn't buy any. So I searched for an ATM machine to get some money out of my account. When I found one ATM machine, I tried to get some money but it suddenly printed a receipt and pop-out my card. I thought there's something wrong on my account. I slide back in my card and then checked my account balance. Then on my surprise, I was stunned to see my account only had $1.61 left! On that moment, I realised that my payment to my domain host was on process. So I thought maybe that's the reason why a large amount of money was lost in my bank account. And also I took some money out as well for my baby's needs. I had no choice. In my wallet, I only had $9.xx something. The cinema ticket costs $10++ so I was $1 short. I went back at the cinema reception area and asked around where I can buy tickets using cash since I had no money in my bank account. They directed me to the cinema's candy bar/snack bar which sells movie tickets as well. I thought of an idea whereas I will pay $9 cash and $1 on my bank account. But the cashier person said my card (ANZ savings card) won't work on their system. Then I thought, "Darn! I really have no chance on watching this movie." Eventually the cashier said it doesn't matter, I can just pay $9 for the movie ticket. Then I was like ??? I am a supermarket cashier/checkout operator and a $1 can still make a difference but this cinema cashier showed her kindness to a stranger. The fact that I was wearing a black jacket (looks like a goon), black pants, and a black bag, she still let me have that ticket even though I was $1 short.
