It was Saturday September 6, 2008, my friends (Tropang Filos) organized a welcome party for our friend (Boz) who came back from the Philippines, and also a welcome party for two new member (Jayson & Richard) of the group. And it was really fun on that party!
It was Saturday, and usually I work on those days. I had an afternoon shift that day. I wanted to ask my manager a favor if she could move my shift earlier as it suppose to be so I prepared to go to my work early. While I was about to leave my house, I received a call from manager. She said if I could go early to work because it was really busy on the supermarket. Lucky!
But it was unfortunate that it rained. I didn't bring any umbrella. I only had my jacket, cap and my beanie. I got soak from the rain though.
I finished on my work early. I rushed to the train station to catch the early train but I forgot where should I go?! Because it depends on my friends. The plan was to eat diner in a restaurant in Sydney City, then go to our friend's house (Jonathan) to drink. I had to confirm to my friend (Kimiko) who organized the party where should I go. I also called my friend (Divine) if she would like to go to the party with me because she too had work on that day.
Anyway as we reach to the venue, they already finish their diner! How thoughtful they are?! LOL. But that's alright. The group went walking towards the train station. As we chat inside the train, we already had some fun and laughs.
We bought two hard liquors, 5 cases (6 bottles per case) of soda-like-liqours, and also brought one more hard liqour. One of those hard liquors is the Absinthe! That's my favorite. Hehehe.. It contains 80% alcohol content. 10% more from an isoprophyl alcohol. Haha!
We had some karaokes, eat chips, and play card games. It was so funny when we have ourselves drunk. Haha! It was noisy but funny.
Some of my friends (Kimiko and Day) went home early about 11pm (that's too early for us though). And after few minutes, Divine's boy friend ask her if she could go home already. Her boy friend was drunk as well because he went to a club. (He is originally from Thailand). Some of my friends walked Divine to the Train station where she and her boy friend can meet. But suddenly her boy friend came from a taxi. He was furious and angry with us. He was saying, "&^%&^ home! %#%^* home!" Let me translate this, "Im sorry, just go home! Go home!" Hahaha! We couldn't understand clearly what he said. Some of my friends wanted to teach that guy a lesson because he was rude. Divine was teary eyes as she asked us to understand her boy friend's feeling. He was just protective maybe.
Anyway we continue to chat some in the party. Richard was too drunk. He laid on the couch and sleep without even noticing the people in the party. LOL! After few minutes, he took a bag of chips and puke in it. We panicked as we help him. I was too tired and sleepy. I just wanted to have some sleep though.
After we ate some snacks before we slept. I laid down on the sleeping mats and take my sweet sleep. Although it was cold and still noisy at that time, I couldn't be bother doing something on those things. I just sleep and and take my rest.
Morning came and the sun set on its position. We hardly wake up from our hang overs. It was still cold but silent. I had to leave early because I had to go to my work again. I had no chance on changing my clothes! The uniform I used that Saturday, I used it while sleeping, and used it on my Sunday work! Hahaha!
Anyway, we were tired and/or had some headaches, it doesn't matter. Memories will surely last in us. The party was so fun!
Next meeting/party/get-together might be on the Filo Fiesta 2008. It's on 5th of October at the Race Track Arena on Rosehill.
